Eva Mendes was born in the United States and is an American model, actor and singer. An agent for talent discovered her talent and urged her to pursue a career acting or modeling. She made the decision to quit school and join the industry of entertainment after a lot of thinking. Her disappointment was with the performance she gave in the film Children of the Corn V Fields of Terror. She worked hard to hone her acting skills and appeared in a number of films with low budgets to demonstrate her talents. It wasn't an straightforward path for the actor and her tenacity and determination was rewarded. Her name was praised and she received positive reviews for her performance in the movie Training Day after which her acting career took off. Her most popular films include 2 Fast and Furious, Hitch Ghost Rider Bad Lieutenant Port of Call New Orleans, and Holy Motors.
