Jillian Noel Shennessy, born 25th November, 1968, in Canada is a Canadian actor and singer that was acknowledged for her contributions in American television. The actress has made well-known because of her roles as Claire Kincaid in Law & Order and Crossing Jordan. Her acting talents were evident in the films RoboCop 3 Most Wanted as and Chutney Popcorn & The Acting Class. Through these independently produced film, she exercised her co-directing and writing muscles. Hennessy started her acting career alongside her sister in 1988 playing two call-girls in Dead Ringers. Her Broadway debut was in Buddy, The Buddy Holly Story. Then in RoboCop 3 in 1993 she played Dr. Marie Lazarus. The following year she made her most famous break when she was cast in NBC's smash show Law & Order to play District Attorney Assistant Claire Kincaid. Parker won an award in 2001, the Tony Award as Best Actress in the Broadway Show Proof.
