Annika Sorenstam plays professional golf in Sweden. She is considered one of the greatest female golfers ever. In 2008 she stopped playing competition golf. This resulted in Annika scored 90 victories at international tournaments. Her ability to ski that brought their family members to Sweden, where she pursued the sport with a professional. She became the first woman to win the ALPG Australia tour and qualify to play in an LPGA championship in the year 1994. Annika was awarded LPGA rookie of the year after placing in the top three. Annika's first breakthrough was in 1995, when she took the title at The US Women Open LPGA tour. Annika was the first non American to be awarded the Vare distinction. Annika was also ranked as top of the Money list. She chose not to compete during the year 2008. That night she threw the first pitch of baseball in the game.
